Welcome To United Gear & Machine Company
United Gear brings sixty five years of gear cutting experience to the production of top quality precision ground and cut gears for our customers. Started by Victor J. Malec in the early 1950s as Windsor Locks Machine, the company moved to its current Suffield location in 1954, taking on the name United Gear & Machine. Seven decades later, William J. Malec, Victor’s son, continues to serve many of the same satisfied customers in the aerospace and manufacturing industry.
Our experienced engineers and machinists are on call to solve the most intricate of problems. Many have worked with United Gear for over 30 years and share their expertise and experience with all of our employees and customers. Together, our team works in strict compliance with your specifications and requirements.
United Gear has embraced the technologies of the current millennium and is proud to offer state of the art services to our customers. We have recently added two new gear shapers, a 10-4 CNC and a MS300 CNC, as well as an NC Gear & Spline Analyzer and Brown & Sharpe Micro-Val CMM to our already robust and proven equipment inventory.
