ABOUT US
United Gear & Machine Company has been in business since 1954 and is a key supplier of aerospace and defense components. We manufacture precision splines and gears for our space, defense and commercial aerospace customers. Specializing in high quality splines with tight tolerances, our CNC gear shop is ready for parts up to 40 inches.
In 2020, we opened a new facility in order to expand our capabilities while keeping up with customer demands. Our new facility includes dozens of CNC machines that hold our strict standards of quality, a large inspection department and a wide array of specialty machines to get the job done right the first time.

Founded over 70 years ago as a single-room machine shop, United Gear & Machine has grown into a leading precision manufacturer serving the aerospace, space, and defense industries. Our continuous investment in technology and talent culminated in the completion of a brand-new CNC Gear Shop in 2020, expanding our footprint to nearly 15,000 square feet of advanced manufacturing space.
Our state-of-the-art Inspection Department, now spanning 2,000 square feet, is equipped with cutting-edge gear analyzers, optical comparators, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and precision surface plates—ensuring every component meets the most stringent quality standards demanded by our customers.
