On October 2, United Gear joined manufacturers from across the state at the Made in Connecticut: 2025 Manufacturing Summit, hosted in Hartford. Our Director of Manufacturing, Gavin, and our colleague Jacob from Skill Craft attended alongside company leadership to take part in an engaging day of discussion and networking.

The summit featured panel conversations with industry leaders on critical topics shaping Connecticut manufacturing today, including supply chain strategy, workforce development, federal policy shifts, and capital investment challenges. The release of the 2025 Connecticut Manufacturing Report provided timely insights into statewide performance and growth opportunities, and the discussion that followed offered practical takeaways for companies of all sizes.

We value opportunities like this to connect with peers, share experiences, and learn how others in the manufacturing community are adapting to a rapidly changing landscape. United Gear is proud to be part of Connecticut’s manufacturing base, and events like this help ensure we remain strong, collaborative, and future-focused.
