Steel has started going up on United Gear’s expansion project. By adding nearly 8,000 sq ft of new manufacturing space, United Gear can continue to service its existing customers with expanded capacity. Three new CNC gear shapers are on order and will be arriving as the building is finished later this spring. A visit to the IMTS trade show this fall will help us finalize more machinery for the new space.
We were lucky with weather this fall and were able to get the foundation in before winter ever arrived. Below are some progress photos staring with clearing the trees on November 25 to the finished foundation on Jan 17.
